Andria grew up in the north of England. She is a member of a large family with a long tradition of gardening. Working in Switzerland and France increased her interests in history, food and wine. Always an adventurer, she came to Dallas, Texas in 1977 to explore life in the New World. Not surprisingly, she has gardened here, too, and was amazed when her garden was described as "a real English garden!" Her interest led her to become a Master Gardener with Dallas County Agricultural Extension Service. She is keen to share her knowledge and love of gardens as you tour the beautiful castles and gardens of her childhood.
